Pixel text tutorial

This tutorial was created for Microsoft’s Paint.

zoom at 800%. To switch on the grid go to View > Zoom > Show Grid, or press Ctrl + G.

To activate the thumbnail go to View > Zoom > Show Thumbnail.

Use the line tool to draw your text using using the template below.

    wow! thanks so much! I’ve been looking for something like this, i’d rather draw my own than use an actual font! even though i will probably just use it on PSP9, thanks!!! :D

    no worries. In my version of PSP ( also 9), you are unable to adjust font size in pixels, so I stuck to doing them by hand, although it’s a bit of a killer if you have a load to do (like forum buttons), not so bad if you just want to create a menu bar, or something.

    Later versions of Paint Shop Pro allow you to measure in px size, so perhaps they work better :)
