This download contains a Proboards colour scheme, and includes some but not all customized images.
You may also request extra or alternative images for this skin.

Hello! I love the layout, my only question is that if i want the board to be as wide as the whole screen what will i need to change in the script? Thank you very much for you help!
Comment on December 1, 2006 at 4:26 pm
Hi, Sandy.
You just need to remove the forum width code:
<script language="JavaScript">
var boardwidth = document.getElementsByTagName('TABLE');
for(i=0;i<boardwidth.length;i++) {
if(boardwidth[i].width=="92%"){
boardwidth[i].width='660 px';}}
</script>
hope that helps

Hi megan. I think what you need is a category splitter code, that creates separate categories on the main page, allowing you to add head and base images.
You can find a few versions of this kind of code under Main Page Hacks at ProBoards Support

The code should work. You don’t seem to have the code in your board at the moment. If you add it to your headers and footers, I’ll be able to show you how to get it working

The code I linked too wasn’t really what you wanted. sorry about that.
You could try using this category splitter code, and then click the link at the bottom of the post for the code creator’s head and base image code.
So you’ll need two codes instead of one, but I’m sure this will also add a head and base image to the info center. Personally these would be the codes I’d use
fingers crossed.

Your amazing seriosuly. One quik question though, in the header, if I put a picture in, how do I make it so the text is below the picture?
Comment on September 24, 2007 at 5:13 pm
Thanks, Lynda
If I understand what you mean, when you add the banner image, it replaces the forum text name. hope that helps.

No, I mean, your looking at the default banner right? With a picture. And it has the picture, and then hey, whoever, you have so many pms, this amny are new. How do I put the pm stuff below the picture, rather than beside it?
Comment on September 24, 2007 at 5:37 pm
This code will place the pm message below the header
Move “Hey X, you have X” around welcome table

Hello,
I’m desiging this site for a friend and I’m either going to use this skin or your purple sweetshop one [I ah-dore all of your skins! great job!!] but i have a quick question: how do i separate my categories? Theyre all directly attached under each other, i only want to separate them for the purpose of getting it to look neater. I read the above comments and looked at the main hacks proboard page but is a category splitter code what im looking for? Im so confuzzled when it comes to javascript because im a beginner…
Tahnks again and great job!

Hi Ashleigh. It looks to me that it is the category splitter code you are after.
This purple skin download also contains the head and base images for the split categories code, should you choose to use it.

Hi,
I have a question about a category splitter code. I have one on my forum but I don’t like that it puts “Forum Name” above every category. Is there a code that will take out “Forum Name”? I would love any help. Thanks.

Hi, Chad. Sorry but I don’t know anything much at all about Javascript. Your best bet is to visit support.

Hi, Jess you need a graphics program for that or you could use an online image editor.
I’ve never tried any of these but they might be worth checking out…

Hi Mahud, I added this to my site but the outline didnt come out. I mean the side pieces u dont have anywhere to upload the http:// url into the script to add it to the page if u know what i mean. I mean there isnt no place to add like the .cat file or the headers or anything. This script to add into the headers is different than the other one i added.

Please email me mahud at Hunny@Pivot.net I really need to show you what Im talking about the script there isnt no place to add the base, head or bg items not like the other template u could add the title, cat and other stuff into it. SO PLEASE EMAIL ME.
